Taiwan: Taipei Trip coming soon!

I'm planning my itineary to taipei with a galfren. We bought our ticket when airasia launched this new route to taipei on the first day. Thou this is my first time, but if you follow taiwan tv shows like guess guess guess, mao xian qi bing, mei shi da san tong. am sure u r more familiar than reading those travel tips where to go and do what in taipei.

Here's the initial plan
Must visit hotspot:

1. 吃喝玩樂逗陣來－士林夜市 --- Shilin Night Market (local pasarmalam)
this is one of the hottest spot night market we must go for FOOD HUNTING! it is famous among taiwanese and tourist. you can find all street hawker food in here n cheap cheap! apparently, transportation in taipei seems pretty easy. everywhere we plan there's a guide or reference to follow. and is very easy to get to Shilin.

2. Must visit spot 2: J-chow's restaurant! here's his website, is really cool site and u can listen to J's music over n over again. you can preview his menu before get there. http://www.mrj-tw.com/

3. Sun Moon Lake 日月潭 --- can't afford to stay over night. only high-class hotel is available. too bad. probably will drop by for a whole


4. Hotel 73 - a japanese hotel we booked for first 2 nights. looks nice n clean and affordable---from the photo and survey to many websites n tripadvisors too. thou is a bit far from the train station. but since is really affordable n looks clean n nice. we gonna give a try. you can book your hotel from this website: www.agoda.com join as member and to enjoy credit points for your next booking. for payment you can pay in MYR straight away unlike asia rooms, charging on S$ and will rugi on exchange rate. I booked for my bangkok trip last round and rugi RM80!

5. Jian Hu Shan amusement park --- not sure whether it is far from taipei or not. I was told this themepark is much better than our Genting Themepark or Ocean Park in HongKong. Scary roller coaster ride at Jian Hu Shan is not to be missed, i need to find out where it is.
